Unfortunately, I know no more about this dam line than I learned from researching the names of the horses in order to create the progency chart and associated tables. Hopefully someone who is more knowledgeable than I will share his/her knowledge of this strain/dam line at some point in the future. Until then, I hope that the research presented on these pages has helped you to learn about this dam line, strain, and Al Khamsa horses.
I will note that this is one of the few AK dam lines that is steadily increasing in numbers. This line appears to be well represented in straight egyptian breeding programs that are breeding to some of the better known straight egyptian stallions that just happen to be Al Khamsa as well. I hope that within just a few years, I can change the status of this dam line to 'watch' and someday may be able to change it to 'safe'!
Although I haven't had time to update the site, I want to express my thanks to Lou for increasing my knowledge of the Habdan Enhazi strain. *Bint Shaams was an imported Habdan Enhazi that traces to Venus; she had been incorrectly identified as being of a separate dam line.
