Unfortunately, I know no more about this dam line than I learned from researching the names of the horses in order to create the progency charts and associated tables. I do know that the last mare of this dam line was born in 1986. All of the more recent foals have been colts resulting in a situation in which it is likely that this dam line will disappear. I hope that one or more fillies will be born to allow this dam line to continue. Hopefully someone who is more knowledgeable than I will share his/her knowledge of this strain/dam line at some point in the future. Until then, I hope that the research presented on these pages has helped you to learn about this dam line, strain, and Al Khamsa horses.
Update 10/2009: This year I checked to confirm that RC Tuema, the last producing mare of this dam line, had not had another foal. She would be over 25 years old, but..... No luck. Best wishes to the owners of the stallions of this line - they can continue this line as a Rare Element.
Update 12/2008: There are only two mares remaining in this dam line and neither has been blood typed or DNA typed (per the DataSource). When the last mare of this dam line is over 25 yo, the research will be repeated in hopes that a mare over 25yo produced a filly or that an oversight has been made and there was a surviving group of mares still producing. At this time, it is very likely that this dam line is extinct. *Jamalah El Jedrani may be lost as a dam line, but is survived by male descendents who are continuing her line as a 'rare element'. This line was lost, not to lack of caring, but to pure random luck that the last producing mare consistently produced colts.
